Xavier Trias i Vidal de Llobatera (Barcelona, \u200b\u200b1946) is a English politician, a member of CDC and CiU's candidate for mayor of Barcelona. Among other responsibilities at the Generalitat of Catalonia, has been Councillor for Health and Councillor of the Presidency for the Governments of Jordi Pujol.

Born in Barcelona on August 5, 1946. He is married and has four children. Convergence militates Democratic Union of Catalonia since 1979.
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, University of Barcelona in 1970, specializing in pediatrics.
