THE SUPREME LUCK

Jean Baptiste Reinhardt, nicknamed 'Django', born in Belgium and raised in a gypsy camp on the outskirts of Paris, next to the fortifications surrounding it, where he had moved his tribe mother when he was eight, absorbing the gypsy roots then show in his music.
On November 2, 1928, at one o'clock in the morning, Django Reinhardt returned home, caravan a night of music in the new club's Java. The caravan was filled with celluloid flowers his wife, who wanted to sell the next day. Django thought he heard a mouse and used a candle to him. A bit of wax fall on the highly flammable flowers was enough to cause an infernal fire. The musician was wrapped in a blanket to protect themselves from the flames. He and his wife saved his life, but his left hand and the whole right side of his body from knee to waist were badly damaged. At first the doctors wanted to amputate his leg but Django refused. The care received in nursing would then be crucial to save his leg. Eighteen months Django was bedridden. At the end he had become unfit for the fourth and fifth fingers of his left hand (which had been made towards the palm due to the heat received by tendons). However, through ingenuity devised a typing system to meet your problem, a system that played a part in the originality of his style. Could use them in the first two strings of the guitar chords and octaves but complete extension was impossible. However, he was able to become a giant of the guitar using only your index finger and middle finger.
